About me

Hi there! I’m a Machine Learning Engineer at Peritus.ai, where I do backend development and work with large language models to deliver ML powered insights to developer communities and enterprise security organizations. I’m interested in applying generative AI in novel contexts and discovering new ways of leveraging their information processing capacities. In the past I was a Postdoctal Fellow in the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo and a fintech developer and data analyst.

My spare time is spent exploring how complexity and systems thinking might help address the large scale informational and organizational issues facing humanity. Concretely, that looks like spending time in the effective altruism, urbanism, liminal web, and insight meditation communities.
